"CMS - 40th Anniversary Retreat" CMS was founded in Woodstock by musical pioneers Ornette Coleman, Karl Berger and Ingrid Sersto in 1972. To celebrate their historic 40th anniversary, the organization is planning a 40th Anniversary Intensive Workshop and Retreat at Full Moon Resort, May 20-24, 2013. In addition to Karl and Ingrid, Guiding Artists scheduled to attend include John Medeski, Oliver Lake, Dave Douglas, Steven Bernstein, Harvey Sorgen, Steve Gorn, Mark Helias, Don Byron and Marilyn Crispell , - with more Guiding Artists expected to be announced soon.

Full Moon Resort is honored to host the inaugural music camp of original Allman Brothers' great, Rock n Roll Hall of Fame member, drummer Butch Trucks and world renowned bassist for the Allman Brothers Band, Oteil Burbridge, with Luther and Cody Dickinson of the heralded North Mississippi Allstars. "Roots Rock Revival" combines the musical forces of two generations with a four day/night musical journey into the roots of American rock music.

Women's Music Summit - August 27-31, 2012
Women's Music Summit featuring Bibi McGill, Kaki King, Malina Moye, Marnie Stern, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Meshell Ndegeocello and others. Learn, Play, Connect! The first of its kind, this music immersion week focuses on female musicians! Players of all instruments and levels are invited to come together to learn, practice, perform, and connect. Learn and practice by day. Perform, jam, and socialize by night!
Throughout the year, Full Moon’s roadhouse-style Performance Space hosts a schedule of concerts, dances, artist showcases, seminars, workshops, private parties and Catskill Mountain destination weddings. The natural wood interior and beamed ceiling offer superb acoustical properties, making the space ideally suited for pre-tour rehearsals and live recording. The room, with its barn-like warmth, features high quality audio and lighting systems, a 24'x12' carpeted stage, private dressing rooms, stone fireplace, hardwood floors and a full copper-top bar.
In the warmer months, nationally recognized touring artists have graced the stage at Full Moon’s Tent Pavilion. Centered on the expansive front lawn, this structure offers the opportunity for an open-air concert...with no possibility for dampened spirits. The Tent Pavilion also serves as excellent workshop space and is available to large group gatherings and celebrations of all types.
Full Moon Café
The artistically rustic Full Moon Café, offers colorful art exhibits, gourmet catering and a superb wine list and has been the setting for acoustic performances by some of the Northeast's premier singer-songwriters. Many such performances have been presented and hosted by Mike Visceglia, musical director and bassist for Suzanne Vega.
With refinished wood floors, a large, carpeted loft, and giant picture windows wrapping its perimeter, with beautiful mountain views, the Barn can accommodate over 100 attendees for a seated class or lecture. Films, slide shows and power point can be presented (screen available.) Also a wonderful venue for acoustic performances and classes. Fully heated and available year round.
Campfires and Song Circles
Acoustic jam sessions on the lawns and porches are a mainstay at Full Moon’s music events… oftentimes with attendees and artists joining in together. During evening hours, glowing embers rise to the stars at impromptu sessions around the campfire. Guests are always encouraged to bring instruments.
