Lovingly prepared, hearty country buffet breakfasts and lunches are offered for weekend or mid-week groups throughout the year at the artistically rustic Full Moon Café. The Chef applies classic techniques with a New American flair to make each dining experience in the Café a celebration of fresh cuisine. Guests enjoy Café dining as part of a comprehensive “Guest Package” that includes breakfasts and lunches (for most groups, including weddings) and dinners (for workshops, conferences and retreats.)
Surrounded by the works of exceptional regional artists, guests discover this cozy, rustic environment to be both relaxing and fun.
The breakfast buffet features natural, locally-harvested eggs, pancakes or French toast, and choice breakfast meats. Natural whole grain cereals and baked goods, along with yogurts, milk, juices, organic soy milk and fresh fruits compliment the buffet. Organic Coffees, hot chocolate and an assortment of black and herbal teas top off this magical morning meal. Vegetarian entrees (like a tofu scramble) are always included as an option. Clients also have the option to upgrade the service to include omelet or crepe stations with personal chef-service.
Café lunches generally showcase seasonal soups, a fresh garden salad bar, tasty sandwiches or wraps, cookies, coffees, teas, sodas and juices. Upgraded premium lunch services include the Chef’s signature grilled flatbread pizza station or fresh pasta stations. For workshops, conferences or retreats, the Café dinner menus features a range of possibilities from country BBQ’s to formal dining. Generally dinners in the Café feature organic garden salad, fresh breads, entrees, sides and a light dessert. Entrees from the standard workshop menus include such favorites as miso-soy salmon, balsamic London broil and natural, stuffed chicken breast. The menus also feature a variety of delectable vegetarian options. Bar services, with liquors, liqueurs, a superb wine list and a nice selection of imported beers and microbrews are available at Café dinners at the Client’s discretion.
Along with its dining component, the Full Moon Café can be utilized as a workshop and/or performance space. The history of performances in the Café includes the memorable 2004-2007 Winter Concert Series, produced by Michael Visceglia, musical director for Suzanne Vega – showcasing many of the northeast’s premier singer-songwriters.
