Mike Visceglia and Suzanne Vega: Sessions@W54th

Full Moon, an "alternative" resort dedicated to the celebration of art and music in nature, offers over one hundred private acres of mountains, fields and streams to wander and explore. The facility features comfortable country inn accommodations, campgrounds with restrooms and hot showers, a concert tent complex for daytime music, a café serving both traditional and vegetarian cuisine, art exhibits and the intimate, artistically rustic Performance Space, well suited to two magical evenings of music and celebration with Suzanne Vega and Special Guests.

The weekend will begin early Friday evening with a very special artist reception and book signing with Suzanne Vega, including open bar and passed hors d'oeurves. Following the reception, the Friday evening program in the Performance Space, hosted by Michael Visceglia (Suzanne's Musical Director and bassist) will open with readings by Suzanne, and followed by guest performers including Amy Correia, guitar virtuoso Vicki Genfan, and Joey Eppard with Jerry Marotta, Mike Visceglia, and Ben Butler.

On Saturday morning, guests will enjoy a lovely breakfast buffet at Full Moon's Café. The day's programming will be highlighted by an afternoon Concert with Suzanne Vega (in duet with Michael Visceglia), under the Concert Tent on the grand front lawn, with Capitol Records Recording Artist Amy Correia opening. The concert will be followed by a fabulous country barbeque (with vegetarian options) accompanied by Darren Lyons Jazz Quartet. The program continues Saturday evening at the Performance Space, featuring a concert with The Vigil Project to benefit the Windows Of Hope Family Relief Fund, a foundation which continues to provide much needed support for families affected by the tragedy of 9/11. Suzanne will host the presentation, with performances by Ina May Wool, Jack Hardy, Jon Albrink, Suzanne Vega and Michael Visceglia.

Throughout the weekend, guests will have the opportunity to experience a rare exhibit of the artwork of Suzanne's brother, the late Tim Vega, a brilliant New York City graffiti/poster artist best known for his colorful imagery in connection with Blues Traveler, the Spin Doctors, the H.O.R.D.E. Festival and the Wetlands jamband scene.

Socially conscious vending and awareness booths, hikes to Giant Ledge with panoramic mountain views, swimming in the pool, and late night acoustic music and social gatherings around the campfire (bring your instruments!) are all elements of this special weekend in the mountains, dedicated to peace and healing through music.

The weekend will conclude with a farewell brunch in the café on Sunday morning.
